And since the biggest draws of Big Bear are the lake and the ski areas, it's good to know that Mark has extensive knowledge in these areas as well. Mark worked on the lake for 18 years, and as lake operations supervisor. He helped write the dock standards which are so important to our lakefront property owners. Mark continues his community involvement by teaching the Safe Boating courses offered each year by the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

The ski industry has been good to Mark, too. Working as race team coach, ski school director, race director and pro racer, Mark competed in the 1982 World Championships and raced in Europe while living in Sun Valley, Idaho.
